Yeah this was my final assignment for my backgrounds and props class. The assignment was to go to the Bonaventure cemetery in Savannah and get reference and then to a bowling ally and then apply it to our 4 page comic which was about Two guys are sitting at a bar in a bowling ally checking out women when one turns to the other and tells a story, the story takes place in a cemetery where a couple is making out when one sees something out the window (we got to choose what) and then we cut back to the guys in the bar.
Its not to great actually the backgrounds are not great yeah check out my shitty last minute cemetery and bowling alley XD awful. For some reason my class liked it though they really liked my characters which made me happy. The ending needs a little explanation the zombie has a box of nerds because it has been an inside joke of ours in class. It started with a project we did where we got a stereotype word and had a day to draw a home for them.. I got the word Nerd so I was a smartass and drew Wonka Factory and my teacher said that it needed a guy walking in front eating a box of nerds, and he suggested that every freaking project as a joke for everyone in class but no one ever did it so I felt it was my job to go out with a bang and draw a zombie with nerds and I brought nerds for the class :B
Well I think it's absolutely wonderful and hilarious! I love how you did it without any text, too! I think that makes it even more fun! Bravo, and hooray for Nerds!
wow, I think this really looks great! It's so easily legible, without any words or anything. The characters all have marvelous expressions and the end totally made me smile ^^. Also, that's car looks amazing in the 5th panel! just wow. Your work is really starting to look very professional!
heheh, and about the nerds thing: isn't it fun when classes are fun like that? my CMPA class had a running joke about putting a piece of cheese into every project. 9_9 but no one brought us any cheese ):.
LoL Wow that looks GREAT, dude! I just love that panel of the interior of the car. Really hard shot to pull off naturally. Great backgrounds overall!!! You took a lot away from that class!
YAAAAAY YOU UPLOAD! 8D Greaser-guy is the hots. But I'm in love with Carl Jr. more, just because he sounds like Carl to me. XD And the backgrounds look good, so shut up. I would have added like, lines on the windows of the car just so it looks like *something* is there.
